Matthew Emmons
Data Analyst
Matthew joined the CSCA as a Data Analyst in 2015. Prior to that he has worked at the CSCA since 2011 as a Research Assistant, first as part of a research grant looking at corporate location decision-making, and later helping to update the CSCA Major Retail Chain database. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geographic Analysis and Master’s degree in Spatial Analysis form Ryerson University. As well as working for the CSCA, Matthew has also worked for Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) as an intern in their Network Planning department. Matthew has an array of skills in spatial analysis and databases, including using GIS packages, handling and analyzing spatial data, querying relational databases and data visualization. Matthew continues to develop and hone his analytical skills to meet the research and member needs of the CSCA.
